Fun Video Games

For those of you nerds out there who want to play the old time video games that all games originated from even up to some of the most recent games but can't get them, then here's a site for you. This is where I get all of my emulators and games that I can't buy. Here's some examples of some of their emulators. DS, Gameboy Advance/color, N64, NES, and this is only about 1/4 of the emulators they have. They also have games for these, most of which you've never heard of before and might like. They've got everything from Metroid to Zelda, Kirby to Mario, and much much more.

Samus one of the coolest video game characters that's a girl. A missile launcher, a plasma cannon, mines, and she can turn into a ball and roll around while dropping mines every where.

Link a beastly Hylian farm boy who gains the Tri Force and through an epic quest saves the Princess and Guardian of the Tri Force Princess Zelda. Wither it be battle armies of dark spirits or monsters taking over every thing Link can stop them all. His weapons are Master sword infused with the elements of fire, water, air, and earth. The Hylian Shield protects him from almost anything, he has bombs that blow up walls, a bow of intense power, a boomerang, and coolest of all a grappling chain.
Kirby that gelatinous blob that can suck things up into his stomach which is actually another dimension entirely. When he sucks enemies up he can absorb one of their powers or spit them out at other enemies destroying objects in its path. As you can see in this picture Kirby has decided to suck up Samus and gain her power to shoot plasma balls. Keep in mind Kirby is usually pink, but some games let you change his color.

Minecraft

One of my favorite games in all of existence is Minecraft. Minecraft is a sand box style game where you create tools by harvesting different materials and as you go along you can get more and more types of stronger materials to use. There are different monsters you can kill to get different items that can be used later in the game. When you kill Skeleton Archers they can give you bones and/or arrows, Creepers give you gunpowder, Spiders give you string, and Zombies usually only give you rotten flesh but if your lucky they'll give you a rare item(through experience I've found that Zombies in the dessert are more likely to drop rare items).
Of course there's a bunch of other monster that you can battle and get items from. If you open the menu for the game there's a section you can go to marked achievements that has some different goals for you to try and accomplish. At first the tasks are pretty simple but some the later ones are harder to do because they require you to make something or kill so many of a certain kind of enemy. The achievements start with a single on and they spiderweb outward to other harder achievements. The main character you play as is named Steve. He looks like this.
There are things you can get and upload to Minecraft to change to look of the objects in it and how Steve and the monsters look. Some of the Texture packs I have are Avengers, Star Wars, Metroid Prime, Portal, and Legend Of Zelda. Most Texture packs are made by fans. I myself have never found one made by the Minecraft people but fans have posted their texture packs on the Minecraft website.

Well Peace off, and Be Awesome.
P.S. Here's a website were you can download Minecraft for free. The Download button is below the screen shots. http://minecraft.soft32.com/

Mitch The Nerd

A blog that I quite like is a blog called Mitch the Nerd. This blog in fact is run by my brother. There are more posts than on this one by a lot. It is full of comical stories and hilarious comics. Here is the link for the website http://mitchthenerd.blogspot.com/ . I for one love the comics I think they are hilarious, but that's for you to decide on wither you like them or not. His latest comic is one that refers to Miyazaki's No-Face. Here enjoy a sample of his work just to see if you might like it.
